Proposed Amendments to
Constitution & Bylaws

          Each of the Amendments below had a first reading at a special meeting of the Society on February 11, 2007.  Each was voted on and subsequently passed unanimously during the regular meeting on February 27, 2007.

CONSTITUTION

ARTICLE VI: 
Previously read:

This constitution may be amended by two-thirds vote of the members present and voting at any regular meeting, provided that the proposed amendment has been read at a previous meeting and made available to the general membership by posting at City Hall.

Revised:

This constitution may be amended by two-thirds vote of the members present and voting at any regular meeting, provided that the proposed amendment has been read at a previous meeting and made available to the general membership by posting on the website at www.MarcusHistoricalSociety.org and at City Hall.

 Secretary - keeps a written record of each meeting

Revised:

 Secretary - keeps a written record of each meeting and conducts correspondence on behalf of the Society
